How BringOn collects, uses and protects information, in plain words.
Who we are
BringOn is run by BringOn Digital, C119, Ithum Tower, Sector 62, Noida, UP, 201301. In this policy "we" means BringOn Digital, and "BringOn" means the website, the panel you log in to, and the websites built with it.
Two kinds of people, two kinds of information
Business owners and their teams, who have a BringOn account. We decide how their account information is used, as described here.
Customers of those businesses, who enquire, order or book on a website built with BringOn. That information belongs to the business. We hold and process it only to provide the service to that business. If you are a customer of a business on BringOn and have a question about your information, please ask that business first.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and a password. The password is stored only in a scrambled form that we cannot read.
- Your business: its name, address, phone number, GST number and the settings you choose.
- What you put into BringOn: website wording, photos, products, customer lists, orders, bookings, invoices and messages.
- Payments: when you pay us, the payment is handled by Razorpay. We receive the result and a reference number. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Connected accounts: if you connect services such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or a courier, we store the access keys they give us, encrypted.
- Technical information: the internet address and kind of device you sign up and sign in from. This is kept so that you can see where your account is signed in, so that we can warn you of a sign-in from a device you have not used before, and to limit abuse.
- Reports: if you use "Report this website" on a website made with BringOn, we keep what you write and any contact details you choose to give. We do not keep your internet address with a report, only a scrambled form of it that lets us count different reporters. The business reported is never told who reported it.
Cookies
BringOn uses one cookie, to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
On websites built with BringOn, a shopper's basket is kept in their own browser, and page visits are counted without cookies and without identifying anyone.
How we use it
- To provide BringOn: to build and show your website, take your orders and bookings, and send the messages you ask it to send.
- To send you service emails: confirmations, alerts about new enquiries and orders, password resets and receipts.
- To help you when you ask for support, and to keep the service secure.
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping tax records.
We do not sell your information. We do not use your customer lists for our own marketing, and we do not show them to other businesses.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to do what you ask, and only what each one needs:
- Razorpay, to take payments.
- Anthropic, whose AI writes and edits wording for you. The descriptions you type and the photos you upload are sent to it for that purpose.
- Google and OpenAI, whose AI services draw the pictures and make the short videos you ask for. A description of your business, and a photo if you choose one to start a video from, is sent for that purpose.
- Meta, when you connect WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, and Google, when you use its search or advertising features.
- Our email, hosting, domain, courier and tax-filing providers, when you use those features.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
How we keep it safe
Information travels encrypted between your browser and BringOn. Access keys and payment keys are stored encrypted. The wording of every website is read automatically for signs of fraud before it goes live, and a person at BringOn reads anything that is stopped. Each business can see only its own information, our staff can see only what their job needs, and what staff do is recorded. No system can promise perfect security; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. If you ask us to close your account, we delete your information within 90 days, except what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices. Copies in backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw a consent you gave, and name someone to act for you. You can change most of your information yourself in the panel.
To use any of these rights, or to raise a concern, contact our grievance officer, Vineet Jaiswal, by email at info@bringon.in or by phone on +91-8800408565. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
BringOn is for people running a business. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell account holders by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
